NOVA PLAYER respects your privacy and is committed to protecting user information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information NOVA PLAYER may collect, how that information is used, how it is protected, and how users can request deletion of their account and associated data.
1. Information We May Collect
NOVA PLAYER may collect and process the following information when necessary to provide and operate the service:
- Email address. Used for account registration, authentication, email verification, password recovery, and account management.
- User and account identifiers. This may include an internal user identifier and NOVA account identifier used to identify and manage a user account.
- Registered device information. NOVA PLAYER may process a device identifier, including an Android device identifier, to register authorized devices, apply device limits, manage account access, and protect the service from unauthorized use.
- Account access and entitlement information. This may include account status, access status, package or entitlement status, and expiration information required to determine whether the user has access to the service.
- App interaction and playback information. When a user starts or changes playback, NOVA PLAYER may process limited information required to provide the requested service, such as the selected channel identifier, playback session information, device identifier, and player session or player-slot information.
- Device activity information. NOVA PLAYER may record limited device activity information, such as the most recent time a registered device accessed the service, for device management, account security, and service operation.
- Technical information. Limited technical information may be processed when necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.
NOVA PLAYER does not intentionally collect users' contacts, messages, photos, videos, audio files, calendar information, installed-app lists, or precise location as part of its normal service operation.
2. How We Use Information
Information collected by NOVA PLAYER may be used for:
- Creating and authenticating user accounts
- Email verification and password recovery
- Managing user accounts and registered devices
- Enforcing authorized device limits
- Determining account and service access
- Providing Live TV and playback functionality
- Managing active playback sessions
- Maintaining service reliability
- Preventing unauthorized access and abuse
- Protecting user accounts and the NOVA PLAYER service
- Troubleshooting technical problems
- Complying with applicable legal obligations
Playback and app interaction information is used to provide and maintain the requested playback service.
NOVA PLAYER does not use playback interaction information for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. App Interaction and Playback Data
When a user watches content through NOVA PLAYER, limited playback-related information may be transmitted to NOVA PLAYER servers.
This may include:
- The selected channel identifier
- Registered device identifier
- Playback session information
- Player session or player-slot information
- Limited timestamps or activity information required to maintain an active session
This information is used for app functionality, including delivering playback, managing active sessions, applying device-access rules, and maintaining service reliability.
NOVA PLAYER does not use this information to build advertising profiles.
4. Device Information
NOVA PLAYER may use an Android device identifier to identify a registered device associated with a user account.
Device information may be used to:
- Register authorized devices
- Enforce device limits
- Identify the user's currently registered devices
- Allow users or administrators to manage registered devices
- Prevent unauthorized account access
- Maintain account and playback security
Device identifiers are not used for advertising.
5. Data Sharing
NOVA PLAYER does not sell user personal information.
NOVA PLAYER does not share user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
NOVA PLAYER may use trusted service providers and infrastructure providers to host, authenticate, store, secure, or operate parts of the service.
Where such providers process information on behalf of NOVA PLAYER, they are used only as necessary to provide and operate the service and are expected to process information according to applicable contractual, security, and privacy requirements.
6. Advertising and Marketing
NOVA PLAYER does not use collected account, device, or playback interaction information for targeted advertising.
NOVA PLAYER does not sell user information to advertisers.
7. Security
NOVA PLAYER uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect user information.
Account and API communications are protected using secure network connections where applicable.
Access to protected service functions requires authenticated user access and authorized device information.
No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but NOVA PLAYER takes reasonable measures to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse of user information.
8. Data Retention
Account and registered-device information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the user's account and provide the NOVA PLAYER service.
Account access and entitlement information may be retained while needed to provide and manage service access.
Playback session information is intended to be short-lived and is automatically expired when it is no longer required for active playback or service operation.
Certain information may be retained for longer where necessary to:
- Protect the service from fraud or abuse
- Resolve technical or account-related disputes
- Maintain security records
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
When an account deletion request is completed, associated personal account data will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is required for legitimate security, legal, or regulatory reasons.
9. Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their NOVA PLAYER account and associated personal data.

When a valid deletion request is completed, the user's account and associated personal information will be deleted, except for information that NOVA PLAYER is legally required or otherwise legitimately permitted to retain.
Deleting an account may permanently remove access to the NOVA PLAYER service.
10. Children's Privacy
NOVA PLAYER is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If NOVA PLAYER becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child where parental consent or another legal basis is required, appropriate steps will be taken to delete or otherwise handle that information as required by law.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
NOVA PLAYER may update this Privacy Policy when the service, data-processing practices, legal requirements, or technical functionality changes.
